“Lab to Market: Exploring Kansai's Top Research with KSAC” will take place on 28 October 2024 (Monday) at One&Co, introducing university researchers who are eager to launch their businesses globally. These innovators will present solutions aimed at creating a better world, providing a platform for showcasing innovative research, facilitating collaboration and supporting the journey from research to successful startup companies.

Hosted by the Kansai Startup Academia Coalition (KSAC), which comprises 78 organizations - including universities, financial institutions, enterprises, and local governments - this initiative seeks to foster a world-class startup ecosystem in the Kansai region of Japan by expanding the entrepreneurial base and continuously supporting university-launched startups.

“Lab to Market” aims to bridge the gap between academic research and industry application. This event offers a unique opportunity for researchers to showcase their cutting-edge projects to a diverse audience, including investors, industry experts, and potential collaborators. Attendees can look forward to engaging opening remarks, pitches from researchers, and valuable networking opportunities.
