RMIT University and IPI have entered into a two-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 19 Jun 2015. Through this MoU, both parties will cooperate to promote cross-border technology adoption and commercialisation.

Earlier, a networking session was organised by IPI for RMIT to share its R&D capabilities and technologies for commercialisation with Singapore enterprises. RMIT’s new technologies available for commercialisation include 3D audio recording and reproduction, interact-connect collaborative technology, speech analysis for diagnosis on depression, nano-chip for malaria detection, diabetics and wireless healthcare, amongst others.

“This MoU affirms the commitment between RMIT University and IPI to promote cross-border technology adoption and commercialisation. We are pleased to partner with IPI given its vast network of global technology partners and a robust institutional framework,” said Mr. Damien Thomas, Director Business Development RMIT University.
