He was also elected as Senior Member of Technical Staff at Texas Instruments.</p><p style="box-sizing:border-box;line-height:1.5em;margin:0px 0px 1rem;outline:none !important;padding:0px;">After ten years with Texas Instruments, he successfully took two semiconductor start-ups public. He has over 30 years of professional experience and his current responsibilities span across 150+ countries. Up until December 2025, Vinod was also the Global Chief Legal Officer for Pizza Hut.</span></p><p><span style="color:black;">Vinod serves on the global leadership team of KFC, advising on enterprise strategy and sustainable value creation. He plays a pivotal role in global expansion, high-impact strategic transactions, and strengthening franchise ecosystems at scale. Working closely with technology leadership, he operationalises the brand’s technology and AI agenda - translating ambition into scalable platforms, data-driven decision making, and embedded automation that enhance customer experience and operational performance. Vinod brings a global perspective on how established brands can harness technology and partnerships to remain competitive, agile, and future-ready. He is also recognized for combining rigorous governance with bold innovation, building high-performing teams, and positioning the business for long-term competitive advantage. </span></p><p>Vinod joined PepsiCo Restaurants Hong Kong in 1996 as legal counsel for Asia Pacific, and he moved over to Yum! Brands upon the spinoff in 1997. <span style="color:black;">During his tenure in Yum!, he has resided and worked across multiple other cities including Hong Kong, Singapore, New Delhi and Dallas.</span></p><p>Vinod graduated with his Bachelor in Laws (Hons.) and his Postgraduate Certificate in Laws from the University of Hong Kong and has a Masters in Applied Finance (Distinction) from Macquarie University in Australia. He has attended multiple leadership and development programs at various institutions including INSEAD and Indian School of Business, and on Sustainability Strategies at The Stanford Graduate School of Business.</p><p>Vinod is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a member of the Singapore Institute of Directors (SID), the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, the Singapore Academy of Law and the Hong Kong and UK Law Societies. He is also on the advisory board of the Centre for Commercial Law at SMU.
