He held various responsibilities during his career with HP, ranging from enterprise, consumer and services, information technology, customer care, quality, technical service delivery and consulting. As the Chief Information Officer for HP, Beng-Hwee spent much time integrating IT with business to generate strong business outcomes as proof points to HP’s commercial customers. One such example is the role Beng-Hwee played during HP-Compaq integration where he led the successful integration of the service businesses of both companies.</p><p>Beng-Hwee hopes to make a major contribution in the medical, educational and social infrastructure of countries with a rapid aging population, as well as projects focused on expanding reach through affordable medical care and enhancing patient care experience for both patients and care givers. <p>Alan is currently Managing Partner of ABA Asia, which designs, builds and facilitates high performance boards for both fiduciary and non-fiduciary, private and public companies.</p><p>He is also CEO of The Hepburn Group, which provides consultancy services to developers on leisure and hospitality projects and can assist with market entry for hospitality, food and beverage and lifestyle operators. The Hepburn Group also acts as an agent for premium food and drink products.</p><p>From 2008 and 2010, Alan was Chief Executive Officer of KidZania, a children's edutainment company which had the operating rights for the award-winning KidZania concept for Greater China, Philippines and Thailand. In 2001, Hepburn was the Managing Director of the renowned Three On The Bund company in China where he led the creation and development of the Three on the Bund destination concept in Shanghai. This opened for commercial operation in 2004, under his management, as a unique, integrated, lifestyle experience, building the first luxury brand from China. In 2007, the company won Asia’s Best Employer by Asia Wall Street Journal and Hewitt Associates.</p><p>Alan has a distinguished track record in the hospitality industry. He enjoyed success with some of the world’s most prestigious hotel companies where he directed numerous transformation programs and new concept openings and has enjoyed success with a wide range of award-winning initiatives.</p><p>Prior to life in Asia, Alan spent a total of seven years at three of London’s best hotels. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Hospitality (F.I.H.) and a graduate of the Westminster Hotel School.</p><p>Alan is also an active member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO), currently serving as a Global Board member, Chair of the International Networks Committee, member of the Global Compensation and HR Committee and Forum Officer (Gold) for the YPO Singapore Integrated Chapter. Alan regularly runs leadership training for YPO CEOs worldwide.</p><p>He currently sits on the Advisory Board of The Mandala Club in Singapore and chairs the advisory board for Mypetgo - a pet wellness company. Alan has served as past Chair of South East Asia YPO, Chair of the Board of Trustees at Dulwich College, Shanghai and Vice Chair of the British Chamber of Commerce, China. <p class="text-align-justify">John Teo has over 30 years of experience in R&D, technology and product transfer, manufacturing, materials/supply chain and business management. He has held numerous leadership roles with start-ups, small medium enterprises and multinational companies in various industries ranging from medical to fast-moving consumer goods, in Singapore and overseas.</p><p class="text-align-justify">An inventor and technopreneur, John patented three lancet designs – one-step lancet, Elastomer lancet and Gentlepoint lancet. He founded two medtech companies, Surgilance Pte Ltd (renamed as MediPurpose Pte Ltd) and Medical Innovations Pte Ltd, which was subsequently sold to a listed company.</p><p class="text-align-justify">Besides innovating and developing new products, John has built several FDA-approved facilities in Singapore and Malaysia. He has good knowledge in Good Manufacturing Practices as well as international and Singapore quality standards such as ISO 9000, EN 13485 and CE mark. He is also experienced in the US FDA 510(K) and pre-market approval and regulatory process. John has also set up a factory for food-grade manufacturing and packaging in China.</p><p class="text-align-justify">John was based in Beijing for three years where he set up a China Emergency Response Training Centre. As the Executive Director, he led the design and development of the training programmes and managed strategic partnerships with the China Doctors and Nurses Association (CMDA) and World Bank.</p><p class="text-align-justify">John has extensive sales and marketing experience in the US selling through national and regional distributors into hospitals, alternate care and retail markets.
